WalkFit is your ticket to getting healthy, strong, and fit through walking. We have two levels of WalkFit to accommodate your current level of activity and your personal goals.
BEGINNER: WalkFit Beginner is designed for those who are new to walking or walk socially and have never walked for time or distance before. The goal is to work up to walking 60 minutes a day at a steady pace. If you can walk 15-20 minutes now, this program is perfect for you.
INTERMEDIATE: WalkFit Intermediate is designed for those who currently walk most days of the week for time or distance, and are looking to increase their distance and steps. The goal is to increase weekly distance and speed, with a local target "walk" distance event.
KICK-OFF: Join us for a informational meeting and kick-off: Monday, October 5th.
TARGET RACE: Local Event to be determined.
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
A 12-week training program highlighting daily and weekly workouts;
Weekly supervised workouts and support from coaches, staff, and peers;
Educational clinics and topics aimed to improve your ability and understanding;
Constant email communication with staff and coaches for support;
A group to train, learn, and grow with;
Access to several locations, trails, parks, and routes for group workouts.
