Volunteers Needed

How much do you love the volunteers at your races?  How grateful are you for that person who hands you the water or piece of candy or orange slice you need at that very moment?  We believe volunteers are the very heart of the racing community.  Without them we would not be the running community that we are.  Today, we ask you to take that role.  Come out and cheer on your fellow runners.  Cheer on those No Boundaries participants who started with a 5k and have worked their way to the 10-miler. Cheer on the fast Navy Runners but more importantly cheer on that last runner, the one who doesn't know whether she is going to make the cut-off, the one who is on her feet for twice as long as the front runner.  Be the one to provide water, gatorade, or an orange slice just when they thought they couldn't go another step.  Be their hero for a day.
