Join us on Saturday, February 13, at 8:30 a.m. in Severna Park for a Train Smarter Clinic with Strength Training Coach and owner of The Athlete Architect, Dan Riser.
Dan will lead a training session and discussion on the myths and misconceptions of strength training for the endurance athlete.
During this hour-long training session Dan will discuss the benefits of weight training as a supplement to your run training. Dan will explain why you cannot get faster or meet your potential with running alone. He will discuss the importance of core stability and developing "good glutes" and efficient hip extension in your run and weight training.
Please come dressed to training session and stay after Dan's training session if you are interested in joining in a group run.
