Big Thank You To All Who Helped

Thank You To All Who Helped

Our phones started ringing at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon and didn't stop.  Everybody wanted to know whether the run was still on.  For this cause, on this night there was no way we were going to cancel it.  We wanted to create an event a rainbow on the B&A Trail in memory of the victims of the Orlando shooting and there was no way we were going to let a little rain stop us.

Thanks to our entire staff who stepped up and helped get everything ready between the storms.  Thanks to Brian Boru Irish Pub for accommodating far more runners than we had expected and for giving us gift cards to be raffled off for the One Orlando Fund.  Thanks to Anne Wolfe at Hand & Stone for giving us a free massage to raffle off and for helping to host the event.

Big thanks should also go out to the Capital Gazette, John Frenaye at Eye On Annapolis and WRNR for going above by spreading the word before the event.

And the biggest thanks of all to our customers and community members who came out to make this an incredibly fun and heartfelt evening.  Your generosity never fails to amaze us.  Thank you for helping us raise over $400 for the OneOrlando Fund.

We hope we never have to do this again.  We pray that the violence that we saw in Orlando is the last we will see of it.  But we cannot say enough how much it means to us that we belong to a community that will immediately step in to help when these awful things happen. Thank you.
