Ready to start the new year with some NEW Goals? Commit to completing your first 10K or Half Marathon with Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis!
Join us for an Informational Meeting on BOTH of these Training Programs on Monday, February 13th at 6:00pm.
What is Next Steps?
Our Next Steps 10K (6.2 miles) Training Program is designed to encourage runners and walkers to meet their fitness and running goals beyond the 5K distances. It includes an education on different training techniques and tools in order to further enjoy running and improve performance.
The goal of the Next Steps Training Program is to help beginner runners and walkers to complete their first 10K or intermediate runners achieve their 10K time goal. This is a great program for participants in our current No Boundaries: Couch to 5K Training Program. This program is designed for people currently running 20 minutes comfortably.
Program Participants Receive:
- 12-week Training Program with calendar and detailed workouts
- 2 weekly coached training sessions in a fun, group atmosphere
- Series of seminars on topics such as Injury Prevention, Nutrition, and Stretching
- Weekly email support from your coach to answer questions regarding training and running issues
- Weekly Group Runs at Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis
- Coach support and party at the goal event!
Program Fee: $100

Half Marathon Training Program
Join the tens of thousands of people who challenge themselves every year to the fastest growing distance race in the country - the half marathon. This terrific 13.1-mile distance is challenging and achievable. Our programs target runners, run/walkers and walkers. Our exceptional coaching staff will lead you in your training. Pace groups, speed work, and specific training plans will enable anyone who can currently run 5 miles to finish their first half marathon or improve over previous performances.
The goal of our Half Marathon Training Program is to help runners achieve their long distance running goals in a positive and fun group atmosphere.
Program Participants Receive:
- 12-Week Training Program with calendar and detailed workouts
- 2 weekly coached training sessions in a fun, group atmosphere

Join us for the 5th Annual St. Patrick's Day Fun Run at Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis!

Kick off your St. Patrick's Day festivities with a FUN run at Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis! Join us at 6:00pm and you'll be led by our head leprechaun on a 4-mile loop throughout the downtown Annapolis area! When we return we'll have a wee drop of some special beverages and snacks for all participants! And, there might just be a pot of GOLD at the finish!
Our SPECIAL EDITION Saint Patrick's Day Brooks Technical T-shirts were so popular last year that we've decided to offer them to the first 50 people who RSVP for the event! The shirt is FREE, but we will be asking for a $10 donation for our beneficial which will be supporting Celiacs Research from all who request to receive a shirt. You must be present and complete the race to receive the shirt.

Brooks "Run Happy" Tour Bus Visit and Brooks Group Run!

The Brooks "Cavalcade of Curiosities" Tour Bus is making an official stop at Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis on Tuesday, March 20th from 1pm - 7pm!
The nationwide Brooks Cavalcade Tour of Curiosities has been touring the country since 2010, making stops at race expos and running stores to spread the "Run Happy" word.
What's on the BUS? The bottom level is filled with games, FREE giveaways for all attendees, and a special "oddities" exhibition that include "bunion boy's" malady, and the world's biggest shoe (also, new exhibitions have been added for 2012!)
You'll even have a chance to win a FREE pair of Brooks Shoes!
The top level will be stocked with Brooks fit experts who will be performing video gait analysis for all attendees! See what your stride looks like in Brooks shoes!
At 6:30pm - join us for an official Brooks Group Run! We'll be doing 3-4 miles in the downtown Annapolis area! All group runners will receive FREE Brooks giveaways, and you can test out the Brooks shoe of your choice on the run!

Donate Your Old Running Clothes to Help Those in Need!

In our continuing effort to serving our community and helping the Greater Annapolis area “get to it’s feet,” Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis has teamed up with Back on My Feet, a nonprofit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of those experiencing homelessness by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.
Back on My Feet (BoMF) does not provide food nor does it provide shelter, but instead provides a community that embraces equality, respect, discipline, teamwork and leadership. Learn more about this incredible organization here.
Starting Monday, February 20th – Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis will be giving you the opportunity to trade in your “old” apparel for new items – all the while, helping those in need keep on running.
Bring in any of the following “used” technical apparel items, and you’ll receive 10% OFF a brand new piece of apparel equivalent to the one you donated!

The GORUCK Challenge is a team event and never a race. Inspired by Special Forces training and led by Green Berets, the Challenge builds teams and solves problems. $10 of every entry fee benefits the Green Beret Foundation.
