Meet The Staff
Scott Broerman, Co-Owner
Scott, co-owner of Fleet Feet Annapolis, is a United States Navy retiree with a strong customer service and management background. He has been running and training for over twenty years and maintains his fitness enthusiast status by training for and participating in local and area running events. He successfully completed the Annapolis Triathlon in August 2007 and the National Marathon and Boston Marathon in 2008 – all firsts for Scott! Scott also enjoys weightlifting and pursues and encourages others towards a healthy lifestyle.
Marty Broerman, Co-Owner
Marty, co-owner of Fleet Feet Annapolis, is a 1991 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. While at the Naval Academy she was a repeat “All American” athlete in cross country and track events, as well as a “Thompson Trophy” winner. Her running career continued after college and was marked by her participation in the Reebok Enclave, an Olympic Development program. Her participation with the Enclave resulted in her qualification for and participation in the 2000 Olympic Trials in Sacramento, CA in the 10,000 meters. In addition to maintaining her active and healthy lifestyle while raising four children, Marty looks forward to working with the community and runners at all levels to introduce them to the joy of running and healthy alternatives in pursuit of their fitness goals.
The "Kids"
Annalise: Scott and Marty’s oldest daughter. At 9 years old, she has successfully participated in the Junior Striders’ running program and associated track meets. She also loves soccer and any outside time she can get!
Karoline: Scott and Marty’s younger daughter. She's 7 years old, and does whatever she can to keep up with her big sister.
Benjamin: Scott and Marty’s oldest son. At 5 years old, his feet are already moving quickly in his first pairs of running shoes.
Charlie: The youngest of the "crew!" At 4 years old, he's keeping up with his active family and staying focused on having fun!

Noelle Tarr, Marketing Manager

Favorite Place to Run: In a town I don't know. It's the best way to get to know a city - especially if you're traveling.
Why Do You Run? To be honest, I don't particularly LOVE running, so it's really the one thing I do that is a MAJOR test of my mental and physical capabilities.

The One Accessory I Can't Run Without: My iPod. I have a major love for music... so I basically workout so I can listen to music.
Current Goal: Recover from injury; Get stronger in Cycling and CrossFit (Olympic lifting); Run a few shorter triathlons for fun
